Joseph planned to propose at Maui’s Garden of Eden, a gorgeous arboretum and botanical garden on the Road to Hana. He couldn’t wait and ended up proposing on a beach in Cali before their trip to Maui. Their photo shoot turned into an engagement session, which was so nice because it was no longer a secret. I was able to communicate with Casie, and she could have full control over what she wanted to wear and do for the shoot.
Casie and Joe have been together for 7 years. They met in college and have been together ever since. Their back and forth banter had me cracking up, reminded me of an old married couple in how comfortable they were with each other… but they did not look like an old married couple. Casie asked if we could change clothes and if they could do some shots in their bikinis. YESS 🔥 🔥 🔥
I love these photos with the fern in the foreground. I asked Joe to tell Casie the moment he knew he wanted to marry her and you can see the emotion on her face. She started tearing up. I have no idea what he said, but it was sweet to see how much they mean to one another in a photo.
