Hana at sunrise at the iconic Hana Hotel was the plan. The morning began quietly. Leaving their bungalow perched above the water, the couple stepped out onto the lawn, settling into white chairs as the sun slowly rose over East Maui. When the moment felt right, Parker stood, turned toward her, and dropped to one knee. In the hush of sunrise, surrounded by the raw beauty of Hana, he asked the question he’d been waiting to ask. She said yes. I gave them space — letting the joy, shock, laughter, and happy tears settle in. Those first moments after a proposal are sacred. When the timing felt right, I approached to congratulate them, the biggest smiles lighting up their faces. To continue the celebration, we headed to a nearby Hana beach, where black sand, lush greenery, and crashing waves created the perfect backdrop for their newly-engaged photos a great way to start this new chapter together.
